FLUX Exhibition is where art, creativity, and energy collide in a vibrant showcase of innovative works by talented artists. Its 11th edition will be a 4-day art extravaganza showcasing the work of 80 contemporary artists.
Painting, for Nora Blaj, is a journey inward. She has painted in all the ways that she has discovered, which were asking to be explored and re-explored and told, building and crossing bridges between words and colour.
Words and colours are interconnecting parts of her, they connect the shy and inward-looking and the outward-facing, building an overlap that is born from the need to harmonise the two complementary, but different registers. She regards her painting as a catharsis, in the sense of an emotional release or a representation discharged from the unconscious.
